My friend told me that only a few locals
know how to access the beach, so those

Those particular coral pieces were amazing.
They were big, smooth and white as snow.
It is almost impossible to find
coral pieces of that quality.

We realized that those corals and shells
are very rare, and can only be produced
by nature.
We wanted to introduce the natural
beauty and wonder of them to the people.

We have titled the artwork characters
"SANGO", which is CORAL in Japanese.
Corals are the foundation for
these art sculptures and designs.

Miyako Island is known as the
island of coral reefs.
